RDA Global Adoption Week

The RDA adoption session originally planned for Plenary 15 has now become Global Adoption Week and will take place online between 15 and 19 June 2020. 

The event will be organised around five Research Data Lifecycles, as used in the RDA recommendations and outputs catalogue and will showcase a wide variety of adoptable and adopted solutions to data sharing problems. Participants will be introduced to RDA Outputs and will also have the opportunity to speak with the creators and implementers of those outputs and discuss their potential applicability to ongoing projects.

SSHOC joins the Identify, Store and Preserve session 

In the session Identify, Store and Preserve, on 17 June, SSHOC will present its plan for CoreTrustSeal certification for SSH repositories.

The Repository Audit and Certification Catalogues, a two-part recommendation produced by the RDA Repository Audit and Certification DSA–WDS Partnership WG created a common procedures and requirements for certification of repositories at the core level, drawing from the procedures and catalogues of criteria already put in place by the DSA and WDS. On the basis of this effort, the DSA and the WDS Certification of Regular Members merged into the CoreTrustSeal, thereby gradually replacing these predecessor certification standards.
